Presenting The Gentlemen of Crystal Ridge...

   FWF Blue Carousel

The senior herd sire at Crystal Ridge is “Blue Carousel,” a 30 ½ inch silver dapple overo pinto stallion.  He is the epitome of Arabian type.  His sire is “FWF Blue’s Golden Comet” (29 ½ inches), one of the smallest “FWF Little Blue Boy” sons.  However, this great little sire is deceased leaving less than fifty foals and only about a dozen sons. “Blue Carousel’s” dam “FWF Fairlight,” is the dam of National Champion “FWF Blue Bonnet Blue,” and his paternal half-brother FWF Blue’s Golden Illusion,” (now deceased) sired several National Top Ten and Futurity Champions, among the most noted - Fallen Ash Farms Irish Lad.

“Blue Carousel” is far surpassing our expectations by producing multiple NATIONAL and Res. NATIONAL Champions, National Top Ten and AMHA Honor Roll winning get.  We feel very fortunate to have acquired this little stallion, as he is proving himself by consistently reproducing exquisite Arab-type foals with long swan-like necks, chiseled little heads, and totally correct conformation. Over the years we have selectively chosen only the finest broodmares available in the miniature horse industry to be bred to Blue Carousel thus producing the finest foals available today.

If you are looking for a truly Arabian-type miniature with presence and personality in a small package, consider a “Blue Carousel” foal!!!

All of “Blue Carousel’s” foals are fully guaranteed, will be DNA tested, and will be FUTURITY NOMINATED !!!!

Lil Hill’s Apache Fame

Apache Fame the only leopard appaloosa direct son of the great “Hemlock Brook’s Egyptian King,” the premier stallion in the miniature horse industry.  “Egyptian King” is the 1986 National Grand Champion Stallion, and has sired more NATIONAL CHAMPIONS AND AMHA HIGH POINT horses that any other stallion in the world.

“Egyptian King” is a name that all miniature breeders know and respect, and his great tradition is passed on through “Apache Fame.”

“Apache Fame’s” dam, “Dell Tera’s Stardust,” is a celebrated mare in her own right.  She is a leading producer of top-selling show foals, including many Grand Champions.  “Stardust” is the dam of “NFC Hustler’s Star,”  “NFC Hustler’s Evening Star,” and the 1992 Reserve National Grand Champion Junior Mare “NFC Egyptian King’s Stardust.”

“Apache Fame” is extremely refined and Arab-like.  He measures only 30 ¾ inches at five years.    All of Fame’s foals have been loud colored and absolutely gorgeous.  The two colts born in 1999 are both black leopard appaloosas.  His two fillies both have color also:  one filly is a loud red and white pintaloosa and the other is a liver roan with white spots on the rump.  Watch for their debut on the show circuit in 2000...

This young stallion promises to continue the legacy of his royal heritage!!!!

All of Apache Fame’s foals are fully guaranteed, will be DNA tested, and will be FUTURITY NOMINATED !!!

Inch High Pane In the Glass

This Gold Melody Boy bred palomino stallion is an outstanding stallion in every sense.  We feel he is the finest representation of the Gold Melody Boy Line.  He is refined, yet solid, with superb legs and super high-set head.  His proud carriage and excellent elevated trot, combined with the typical Gold Melody Boy “LOOK AT ME!!” attitude, command attention and praise from even the most discriminating miniature enthusiast.  Sired by NFC Too Little To Hustle by Komokos Little Hustler, and out of the show mare Johnston’s Golden Gem, Inch High Pane In the Glass, AKA “Creampuff”, is a replica of his legendary grandsire, GOLD MELODY BOY.

The Gold Melody Boy line produced three-time National Champion “BOONE’S LITTLE BUCKAROO” (through the Gold Melody Boy daughter Johnson’s Vanilla) and Roan Ranger.

CRYSTAL RIDGE GOLD MELODY BEAU

BEAU is a gorgeous dapple gray Stallion who measures about 30.5 inches.  His sire is our Gold Melody Boy grandson who looks just like his famous grandfather.  His dam is our show mare, Kobeck Princess Rose, direct daughter of Komoko’s Chief Running Brave, a leopard appy.  Beau has an upright, beautiful headset and was a 1997 New England Miniature Horse Society High Point Junior Stallion.  His tiny, Arabian head and upright headset are what the breeders are looking for today.  His bloodlines and conformation make him an ideal stallion for any breeding program.  Beau has had many awesome foals for us such as Crystal Ridge Black Magic Melody, Crystal Ridge Classic Melody, Crystal Ridge Celestial Melody and Crystal Ridge Unchained Melody.   Check them out on the sales page!!!
