In foal to Lil Hill's Apache Fame Beautiful, refined, up headed mare who was shown successfully. She won the coveted title of “DISTRICT CHAMPION MARE AND FOAL” with her son “Crystal Ridge Gold Melody Beau” by our Gold Melody Boy bred stallion, Inch High Pane in The Glass aka “Cream Puff.” Her daughter by “Blue Carousel,” Crystal Ridge Carousel Captivation is pictured on the Home Page. “Captivation” has been “cleaning up” on the show circuit with her owner Allison Bache and daughter Courtney. Her son this year Crystal Ridge EK’s Portrait of Fame is a loud leopard by our stallion Lil Hill’s Apache Fame. “Portrait” will be shown in 2000 and is being retained in our breeding program as a future herdsire. “Princess Rose” is by the leopard appaloosa stallion, Komokos Chief Running Brave. This mare is bred for 2000 once again to “Apache Fame” and this baby will be offered for sale as we are keeping her last foal. Could this one be for you????
In Foal to Blue Carosusel Buffie is a gorgeous headed black and white overo pinto mare standing at only 29 ½”. She foaled a gorgeous jet black extremely Arabian type colt this year by Blue Carousel, "Crystal Ridge Carousel Scout". She is a direct daughter of L&D Scout. She is bred to Blue Carousel for an early 2000 foal. This will be her first foal and we can’t wait!!!
EnVogue is a daughter of “Blue Carousel” that we decided to retain in our breeding program. You can see from the picture that she is absolutely exquisite. She has a baby doll head and enough neck for two horses. This mare was bred to our Egyptian King son "Apache Fame" and foaled a tiny grey and white pinto filly "Crystal Ridge EK's Talk of the Town". This filly is very refined, upheaded and a beautiful mover. She will definitely turn heads when she prances into the show ring in 2001!!!
“Jewel” is a gorgeous black and white daughter of “Blue Carousel.” Her dam is a black and white mare with “Moonman” breeding. “Jewel” produced a beautiful red and white pintaloosa “Crystal Ridge Destined for Fame”(owned by Paul and Ellie Fruiteger) when bred to “Apache Fame.” She was bred to our Gold Melody Boy bred stallion “Crystal Ridge Gold Melody Beau” and foaled a beautiful upheaded black and white filly "Crystal Ridge Black Magic Melody".
This bald faced, overo mare is one of the most colorful mares you will ever see. She is leggy and refined with a beautiful high head-set which we striving to reproduce on all of the Crystal Ridge Horses. We feel that this look, combined with a tiny dished head will be the look of the future and the trademark of the horses produced here. “Holly” is bred for an early 2000 foal to our gorgeous Arabian-miniature, “Blue Carousel.” This cross should be awesome!!!
In Foal to Lil Hill's Apache Fame This beautiful black Arabian looking mare should have been shown, but we never had room on the trailer. She has produced extremely beautiful pinto foals with gorgeous heads when bred to “Blue Carousel.” Her gray and white filly “Crystal Ridge Carousel Calypso” is possibly one of the most beautiful fillies in the world!!! If you don’t believe us, watch for her in 2000 and tell us what you think!! She was bred to Lil Hill's Apache Fame in 1999 and foaled an awesome leopard app colt for us in 2000, "Crystal Ridge EK's Image of Fame". Crystal Ridge Tennessee Keepsake
This mare is by the well known appaloosa stallion, “Landry’s Red Pepper.” She is a red roan with a blanket and has heavy mottling. Her head is tiny and chiseled and her bone refined. Last year when bred to “Blue Carousel” she had a filly that is a tiny replica of herself only with black spots on the blanket—Good Going Blue Carousel!!!! This year we decided to see what “Fame” could do. An outstanding cross for 2000!!!! On August 28th, 2000 we were blessed with a tiny black filly with app characteristics. She should turn color and has a lot of appaloosa breeding in her. In any event, she has beautiful conformation and a beautiful Arabian type head!!
